Bill Stamp is one of the founders of Synergis Technologies LLC and is the Chief Architect for Synergis Adept. Bill came from a mechanical design and tool making background and in 1985 started Synergis Technologies with longtime friends, David B. Sharp, III and Janet Kiehart. Bill began his Synergis career doing hardware installation, customer service and AutoCAD training. He started coding with AutoLisp and the AutoCAD ADS System creating add-on programs for AutoCAD, including a custom digitizer menu template system for AutoCAD. In the late 80s he developed the foundation for what would eventually become Synergis Adept by writing custom document management systems for Scott Paper and M&M Mars. The first iteration of Adept, Network FileManager was shipped in 1991, where it ran on Novelle Networks and Sun Microsystems Unix OS. The first Windows version of NFM was released in 1996 and in 2000 the product was formally launched as Synergis Adept.
Bill has remained as the head of the development department. He is also an avid cyclist and lives on Cape Cod with his wife Heidi.
